Excerpt:
Are you generally fretful and nervous? Is your sleep
disturbed by worry? Do feelings of uneasiness and apprehension
often appear out of nowhere? If you can relate to these
and similar questions, Im so glad youve come
to this group. My prayer is that this study will be a step
in your process to dealing with the anxiety that you may
feel.
Most of us feel pulled in so many directions. We usually
have a variety of things weighing on our minds, from big
things like job security, physical
health,
major purchases, safety for ourselves and our families,
and providing a good education for our children, to the
smaller items such as finding the car keys, finishing the
report at work, deciding on a dinner menu, breaking up the
kids arguments, and saying the right words to a friend
in need. Anxiety can be everywhere we turn. And if you dont
have enough worry in your own life, just flip on the evening
news!
Is it really possible to have peace in the midst of
such a fast-paced, anxiety-prone world filled with corruption?
Jesus gives us the answer.... |
